Hair tinsel is a thin strand of holographic, lightweight, hypoallergenic polyester — the same family of material used in costume sequins and dance recital hair extensions. It's softer than a single strand of her own hair, completely flexible, and weighs essentially nothing.
Each strand is folded in half and tied to a small section of her real hair with a tiny double-knot. That's it — no adhesives, no clips, no heat tools.
